Richard Eakin

Richard Eakin, Project Director

Richard is Project Director for MarramWind and CampionWind. A Chartered Civil Engineer with over 20 years of industrial experience, Richard has worked for ScottishPower Renewables for over 12 years and has fulfilled various project management and leadership roles on the company’s global offshore wind portfolio through all project phases from development to execution. With particular experience in the design and supply of foundation structures and in working on successful joint ventures, Richard has a keen interest in the development of local supply chains as the industry continues to grow. A keen runner and occasional golfer, Richard lives in Edinburgh and is married with 2 young children.

Gayle Morrice, Engineering Manager

Gayle is a skilled Project Manager with over 20 years’ experience working in the Oil & Gas Industry delivering projects spanning Subsea, Brownfield and Decommissioning, often involving new technology or adapting existing technology. Gayle is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer and a Chartered Project Professional

Gail Miller, Project Office Manager

Gail Joined the project in April 2023 leading the Project Office and has responsibility for ensuring high quality management of project costs, budget, resources, risks and programme. Gail has worked for ScottishPower for many years across multiple disciplines, from managing Industrial and Corporate Power Purchase sales teams, to leading the Retail Business through a data transition and creation of a multi-disciplinary data team. Gail has also worked in the Generation business as an accountant, in change management and commercial management positions. Gail describes the coming back to an engineering side of the business as feeling like coming home.

Arron Baxter, HSE Manager

Arron is a HSE Professional who brings extensive experience to the team having spent the last 11 years' managing operational HSE in the Oil and Gas Sector. As a new Joint Venture between Shell and SPR, he is responsible for developing the Joint Venture management system and processes, the Safety Culture, as well as managing the current operational risks for the Development Phase of the Project. He is passionate about taking the learning from across the energy sector to ensure MarramWind and CampionWind delivers the energy for the future safely and sustainably. Arron holds an MSc in Environmental Engineering and a BSc in Environmental Science.
